Warm Greeting!
After a week of having stressful and hectic week at work, finally here come the weekends! The weekends that I have been looking forward for its arrival. It was because weekends are the only time for me to keep my mind out from work and most importantly I get to do anything that I want.Yesterday, Saturday (22 Jan 2011) according to my mum and my aunt’s planned, we will be spending our Saturday at Harbourfront and after that we will be heading to the Giant Supermarket at ViviCity. On that day, after my mum came back from work, my mum and I left our house at 1 pm and we took bus number 166 straight to Harbourfront. It was a 20 minutes journey from our house to there. As for my aunt and my cousin, they will be taking an underground MRT since they live at Sengkang. So, whoever reached there first, will be scheduled to wait at the nearest McDonald. Well, I can said that mostly whenever we planned to meet someone at somewhere, my mum and I will always reached the place on time. So it means we will have to wait for that person whom we are going out with. But on that day, my aunt and my cousin are the want waiting for us.
Reaching there, after we all shake hands with each other, my aunt suggested for us to have our lunch first before moving on to do window shopping and going to Giant Supermarket. As what my mum told me before we left our house that we will be eating Vietnam’s food. At first when I heard about it, I was kind of unsure if we were really going to eat that food. It was because since when we know about Vietnam’s food and the most importantly can our taste bud take it? Well, although I am not sure about the prospect, but I told myself it is nothing wrong and no harm to try out. The Vietnam’s food was situated at the restaurant and when we already sited, the waitress gave each of us the menu. Before I opened the menu, in my heart I already felt the unsureness inside my heart. When finally I opened it the insting that I had was correct. We have no acknowledged about the Vietnam’s food and we can’t just order any one of it because the price is not cheap. So, my aunt told the waitress we have decided to cancel our planned to eat there. Stepping out from there, I was thinking that will be going to have our lunch eating the normal common food that we normally ate. But to my surprised, my aunt suggested we ate at Breeks. Café. Before entering that café, in my mind I was thinking that this time round at least the food was like western foods. But when the menu was given to us, again we have to leave that place and cancelled our planned to eat there. This time round it was not because we do not know how to eat the food but it was mainly because the food served there was mostly like sandwiches. In the end, we have our lunch at Banquet. Yes! Thank God because it was how our lunch supposed to be.
After we have our lunch, we headed to the shop selling jacket. The jacket price was: 3 for $10. I never bought any jacket from that shop because that jacket that I planned to buy was not the thick one like the one they sold at that shop. I wanna buy the jacket that is thin because I wanna wear it my work place and I only wanna wear it during the cold day. So, in the end only my aunt and my cousin bought the jacket for their own.
Next we moved on to Giant Supermarket. Now I realized that going shopping with my aunt, was not actually as satisfying as going shopping with just my mum. It was because for instead we are going to certain department and at that department we are not going to buy anything, so we will spent there for about roughly 1-2 minutes and moved on to the next department. Usually, with my mum although we are not buying anything at that department, will just take a look at every each that are sold there before moving on to the next.
To shorten up the story, after we went to Giant Supermarket and paid everything that we bought, before he headed home once again we decided to have a bite at Banquet.
